Data mover interfaces

We installed a new NSX in our environment. We are trying to do IP testting using celerra replicator V1. We are able to ping the NSX data mover interfaces from the remote celerra using the server_ping but its not working the other way. No interfaces on the NSX are able to ping to the remote celerra. But control stations on both source and target are able to ping. So am i missing anything here.

It may take a while to show the status on fs_copy.

Are you copying from the source file system or from a checkpoint on the source file system?

Also - what is the purpose here - just to migrate the data or setup replication.

Please follow the documented steps on the Using Replication V1 document.

As dynamox mentioned - check the routing on the data movers - add default gateway (destination 0.0.0.0) and if needed more routing entries to reach the other side.

thanks for the info.

Now both data mover interfaces are able to ping each other and seems everything workin fine but when i ran the fs_copy command its not copying anything to the destination side. Status is shown as started and communication state transferring.
Do i need to configure anything before running fs_copy command
why is it not copying..

we are just copying the file system checkpoint from source celerra to destination .
what happenes is after some time when i run fs_copy -list nothing is shown in the output. Is that mean that copy is complete, how can i verify that .And when i run

fs_copy -info src_fs1_ckpt1 it still shows percent remaining 100%. and after that when i run again it is showing an error saying src_fs1_ckpt1 is not a member of fs copy session. can anyone please clarify me reagarding this issue.

Thanks

what DART release are you running ?

check the latest release notes - there was a bug about fs_copy not showing status correctly.

We are running DART 5.6.44 on both source and destination celerras. So due to bug fs_copy is not able to complete.
