Tree quota utilization vs windows utilization
I have a tree quota enabled directory that shows utilization of 3 gigabytes
+------------+---------------------------------+-------------------------------+
| Tree | Bytes Used (1K) | Files |
+------------+--------+-------+-------+--------+--------+------+------+--------+
| | Used | Soft | Hard |Timeleft| Used | Soft | Hard |Timeleft|
+------------+--------+-------+-------+--------+--------+------+------+--------+
|#4 | 3144706|3145728|3145728| | 2180| 0| 0| |
when i look in Windows Explorer actual utilization is 3.9 gigabytes. This is after EMC has fixed it with quota recalc procedure. Is this discrepancy because of the Celerra file system block size ?
Thanks

Have you taken a look at Primus emc232534 ?
"Deduplicating a file will only leave a stub owned by the original user - this led to the usage no longer being charged against that user. This was unintended behavior for File Size Quota Policy and has been fixed in NAS code 5.6.47.3 upwards.
This is a known issue that is fixed in NAS code 5.6.47.3 and later. Please upgrade to the latest NAS Code"

dedupe is on, policy is filesize. Other than .etc and lost+found don't see anything owned by root.
