no still doesn't work, are you able to download the software Ron ? perhaps its something to do with my profile...

Hi Maselk,

Try clicking on https://support.emc.com/products/Centera/ and then on the 'Tools and Utilities Support' link.

This will provide you with the software for Windows/Solaris etc

Let me know if you have any difficulty obtaining the software,

Hi Maselk,

Yes, sounds like your profile has not got the correct permission's.

In that case, if you are unable to find the download in http://powerlink.emc.com under Support->Software Downloads and Licensing->Downloads C->Centera Enterprise Software or if the Centera Enterprise Software is not seen, please write a mail to powerlink@emc.com for access.

In the event that you require this software urgently, I will send you a message on how to get it from a ftp site,

EMC SW: Centera Tools 4.x 
Product: Centera 


Note! Software downloads are restricted based on customer agreements, therefore, you may not have permission to view certain downloads.  Should you not see a software download and believe you should have access, follow the instructions in EMC Knowledgebase solution emc116045 "How to get support for EMC Powerlink ".

Go to EMC Powerlink: http://powerlink.emc.com

Go to to Support > Software Downloads and Licensing > Downloads C > Centera Enterprise Software.
 
Select the most current version of Centera Tools (Customer CD for 4.x Windows / Solaris) that is applicable to your version of CentraStar, and choose the Windows or Solaris version accordingly. 


For more information on which version you should be downloading, reference EMC knowledgebase solution emc181709 "What versions of EMC Centera utilities should be used to manage the cluster".  For instructions on dowloading Centera Console, reference EMC knowledgebase solution emc179108 "How to download Centera Console."

I don't have access to the centera enterprise software link either. Who would I request access to ? do I open a ticket for this ?

Hello Michael,

You need not open a ticket on this. Please refer emc245256 on powerlink once Search support is clicked on the top left.

Email Procedure_Generators@emc.com and specify which Procedure Generator you are trying to download. They will assist you get the latest version.

And about access to access to the centera enterprise software link under Home > Support > Software Downloads and Licensing > Downloads C > Centera Enterprise Software, send a mail to ESDS@emc.com .
