AX4-5i array with faulted Disk Processor Enclosure: how to fix?
I have a Clariion AX4-5i storage array with a Disk Processor Enclosure and a Disk Array Enclosure; the management software shows the DPE status as "faulted", although all components seem to be healthy.
What's wrong here? How can I fix it?

Please, check if restarting management server resolves the issue.
Open a new browser window.
http: // xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/setup
Where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the IP address of the Storage Processor (SP).
Note: This procedure must be performed on both Storage Processors to be effective!

Done.
It didn't help at all.
BTW, the array runs the Navisphere Express management software.

Does it show the exact same error if you open Navisphere Express on another Workstation?
Have you tried resetting browser or checking in different browser or clearing cache?
If it still shows the same and its not just a GUI glitch, SP Reboot may resolve it but I would rather recommend to open a Service Request with EMC Support for SP Collects Analysis and further investigation.

What version of Flare are you running - System/Software?
Also, check in the Event Logs for errors and see if there is anything there?

Yes, the same behaviour happens when connecting from any client.
SP reboot didn't resolve anything (as I said above).
The FLARE version is the latest available for this array (02.23.050.5.711).

As I mentioned earlier, please open Service Request with EMC Support for SP Collects Analysis.

Did you see any errors in the Event logs? You should look back to the time you first noticed the "F" in the display.
If you still do not see any issues in the Event logs, then you should open a case with EMC, generate the Diagnostic logs for both SPA and SPB and attach to the case.
