CX200 SPS sense cable
Hi, I'm new here...
Hoping someone can help. I've been an EMC customer for a long time. So long that I have an old CX200 in my procession that is now used for my VMware lab.
During our last office move, I lost the SPS sense cable to connect it to the backup battery, hence write cache is not enable.
I found a pinout for this cable some time ago and finally managed to order a shielded RJ12 connector, cable and db9 connector. Now I can't find the pinout for this cable anymore on google :-( should have saved it at the time.
Don't suppose anyone would have the pinouts for this that they could share with me?
Thanks
Bill

Just in case you can want to order a new cable from EMC, or even ebay..

Thanks, that's what I did in the end...
But now I have the dreaded
BUs 0 Enclosure 0 SPS A is faulted
Invalid Multiple Cable.
I should say that I only have one SPS. That is how it was configured by Dell when we got it many many years ago. And they connected both SP to one SPS and the sense cable into SPA. Now that I have completed this and put it all back the way it was, I get this error message.
Could anyone shed any light on my problem here.. please?

First, make sure you have no faults on the SPS. If no faults, then try a reboot on both SP's (with the cable installed - disable System cache first) to see if the reset on the sense port gets cleared - it may be in an unknown state.
