See the "CX Series Storage Systems Disk and FLARE OE Matrix" document on Powerlink; it lists the supported disks for the CX300/500/700 storage systems. There are corresponding documents for CX3-series and CX4-series as well. These documents are updated as new disk drives are introduced, and also advise what minimum FLARE revision is required. 500GB FC, and 1TB ATA.
