Error details :No error ?

After adding all my LUN's into a new storage group i created i am trying to adding the initiators (in this case the HBA cards on my commvault server) when doing this i am getting the following massage:

Results from call to add host(s) to storage group:
The overall operation failed.

Error details :No error
20:01:00:1B:32:AF:50:5F:21:01:00:1B:32:AF:50:5F-2:Initiator is not registered.Initiator must be registered to use its connection path.

can find where i need to register thoses hosts or actaully the HBA coming from my commvault Media server - why asking for registration?

Every connection to the array from a host needs to be registered. This tells the Clariion which failover mode and array commpath setting to use. You cannot just add a non-registered path to a storage group.

If you right click the array and go into connectivity status, click the group edit button. In here select the WWNs for that host and put them in the right pane (to select them). Set up the failover mode and other things and give the name and IP of the host. After you apply it will register that path with that name. Then add this to the storage group.
