Hello-

I have a CX4-240 Flare 4.30.000.5.517 connected to an ESXi cluster version 5.0.0, 623860.  When I go to a host to configuration - Storage - under Hardware Acceleration it states Unknown.  If VAAI is working properly it is my understanding it should state supported.  I have another cluster connected to a Dell EqualLogic and they do state supported.  I have VMFS-3 and VMFS-5 datastores presented to the cluster but both state Unknown.  On another forum they stated my failover mode needs to be four, but mine are set to one.  Does anyone know if this is true?  Also, any thoughts on what I am doing wrong?
