Hi,

We are currently migrating our current 2 node VMware EXSI4 cluster to a new ESXI 5 infrastructure and consolidating it onto 1 cluster node.  The LUN's our hosted on the Compellent.  For a brief period (for migration purposes) the LUNs will be presented to both server clusters. 

My question is can a single LUN be presented two different ESXI clusters using potentially different LUN id's?

We have been informed that it is important to keep the LUN id's the same across both platforms, unfortunately this is unachievable because we are consolidating the two clusters into one, so there will be two LUNs with ID 1,2 etc etc.

Has anyone had experience with this?
