Firmware update a SSD drive

Hello we have a compellent SCv2020 and have purchased some after market Dell SSD drives pulled from a compellent SC420. These drives are coming up as unassigned and an error of "Incompatible Drive Line for System" "System is unable to accept disk 17 in enclosure position 1-15 with serial number xxxxx and Dell part number PH00FYFWTB30077L0EK4A00 because disk drive line Unknown is not compatible with system" Model of existing drives in our SCv2020 and the drives from the SC420 are exactly the same model "PX05SRB192Y" . According to Dell the only difference is the firmware put on the drive in the factory. The drives in our SCV2020 have a "AU09" firmware and the drives from the SC420 have a "AS0B" firmware. Is there anyway we can get the "AU09" firmware onto these drives ourselves please?

Hello crizz111,

What is your current version of SCOS that you are running on your SCv2020?  I am going to send you a private message, & if you can send me your controller serial# I can check in to this deeper & see what is going on.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.
