series 40 Compellent connection issue

I'm trying to login to the Compellent and I can't even connect  here is an error message I am getting.  any thoughts at all would be appreciated   thanks Paul Error code: 2070Error message: An exception occurred while attempting to connect to the Storage Center.Extended error code: 2070Extended error message: No valid data returned from host.

well I finally connected, what is weird is the ip changed to one less,  I'm baffled as to why,
