Where is Dell Storage Manager (Not Client)

Drawing a blank on this one.  Currently having an issue with SMI-S to SCVMM (Not responding).  Looking at the direction to set it up, it advises to check and make sure the SMI-S is in fact turned on.

To do so, the instructions say to open Dell Storage Manager - but not the "Client" version.  For the life of me, I cannot find that option - all I seem to have is the Client option, which does not take me to the screens needed for SMI-S.

Hutcha4113,

You can find the full version of Storage manager here.

Let me know if this helps.

I will give that a try, but what I meant, is how do I open DSM (not the client) on a server that already shows DSM is installed?

There does not seem to be a shortcut, etc. to open.

Would you clarify the guide you are currently using?

Also, if you follow the link here, on page 331 there are steps that may help with what you're trying.

Ok.  It appears I was using an old guide.  I have found the new one, and verified the SMI-S protocol is on.  Still having issues added Storage to SCVMM 2022.  Getting this error message:

Not sure what is happening?  I have updated storage center to the latest version, and from what I can tell the SC series of compellent is compatible (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/system-center/vmm/supported-arrays?view=sc-vmm-2022).

Of interest my old SCVMM 2019 setup is also not working, even though it was before (not sure how long it has been down, but now says not responding).

You may want to consider calling in to support, as you may require a more direct analysis of the system, configuration, and logs.
