Adding CISCO SAN switch to existing SAN Fabric

Hi, This is my first time working on a project to add new CISCO SAN switch (9710) to an existing SAN fabric ( which has another 9710 & 9513 with single VSAN for production) . I was searching for some best practices and procedure to accomplish this. . I was wondering if anyone who has earlier worked on similar engagement can share any detailed document/procedure which I can refer .
