The LSAN zoning is a whole lot easier using something like BNA. It has a special zoning interface for LSAN zoning which allows you to pick logged in nodes from the edge fabrics. You are correct though that if you are doing it from the switch interfaces you will have to manually enter the WWPNs from the opposite fabric. This does introduce an increased potential for "fat finger" mistakes when zoning.

I strongly recommend using BNA to manage LSAN zoning.

BNA = Brocade Network Advisor?
It didn't seem like a managing tool to me, So I never used it yet. Maybe I should give it a try.

This Ask the Expert discussion is now concluded. We did record a wrap up with the help of @commsnija, aka Cisco's Amy Lewis, who graciously hosted our experts on Engineers unplugged. We will release the video of that soon when it is uploaded.

You can now continue this conversation as a typical Support Forum discussion on the topic. I am sure All, Dynamox and Rob will chip in accordingly. Thanks to our intrepid experts for a great discussion, a great wrap up and a Fibre channel Unicorn to boot too. (|you have to see the video to understand that one )
