Link up and down.....
I keep getting this messages on a number of solaris servers (Solaris 10):
Jul 24 16:08:29 emlxs: [ID 349649 kern.info] [ 5.04B4]emlxs4: NOTICE: 720: Link up. (4Gb, fabric, initiator)
Jul 24 16:08:34 emlxs: [ID 349649 kern.info] [ 5.02D7]emlxs4: NOTICE: 710: Link down.
Jul 24 16:08:36 emlxs: [ID 349649 kern.info] [ 5.04B4]emlxs4: NOTICE: 720: Link up. (4Gb, fabric, initiator)
Jul 24 16:08:41 emlxs: [ID 349649 kern.info] [ 5.02D7]emlxs4: NOTICE: 710: Link down.
The hosts are shown as connected and there is no link event on the SAN switch (brocade DS-5000), no event on the CX3-40 either. The fc-info hbaport also shows both HBA cards as online. The cards are Emulex LP11000-M4.
Any idea why I keep getting this messages?
