Hey any updates on what happened with your order? I'm having the exact same problem. Their order status page is a joke. No updates whatsoever since placing it over a month ago. The "expected production date" and "expected ship date" blew right past with no updates and one agent told me a week ago it should ship within two days (which blew past as well) and another told me it should arrive by the expected delivery date which is within the week and I'm getting really skeptical...

I don't know about the original poster, but I can give you my (ongoing) experience.

I ordered a custom XPS laptop on December 21st, and like you the order got delayed multiple times. I had to contact customer service many times before I got out of them what the problem was (shortage on only one part, the processor). One customer service agent told me through email that the processor was still backed up but the laptop was on track to ship within a few days. When I pointed out that timeline was completely unrealistic, the response was "You are correct!" and the estimated shipping date got pushed back to yet another arbitrary date.

However, there is... kinda good news? After over four weeks of waiting, my part has finally entered production! It looks like it's actually on track to arrive next week. I should mention that no one notified me of this, I just kept logging into my account every day.

I've been obsessively tracking these forums for the past month, and it seems like it's taking people on average around 5 weeks for their order to arrive. Sure enough, it looks like I'll getting my laptop a little over five weeks after placing the order.

That is, of course, assuming someone didn't arbitrarily click the "production" button on my order. Here's hoping.
