Awful Ordering and Customer Support Experience
I placed an order for a refurbished monitor three days ago and I completed the checkout with PayPal.
Flash forward to yesterday, and my order was marked as cancelled without any notification sent to me. If I had not checked on the status of the order regularly, I would not have known.
I contacted customer support, and I had learned that the reason for the cancelled order was that "we didn't receive the authorization from the pay pal." There was no effort to communicate this issue with me beforehand or even offer me the chance to change the payment method.
After going through several customer support chat agents, I learned that the item I had ordered is no longer in stock.
All in all, this entire ordeal has been a huge waste of time, and I'll have to make an effort to avoid buying things from the Dell website in the future.
