Bad customer service, order processing failures
I recently went thru Dell.com to purchase a TV that had a fair price on it and it came with a promotional $200 e-gift card. Upon going thru the purchasing phase of the order, I was offered a chance to apply for Dell financing to which I was approved AND applied towards this purchase with no issues. I received a confirmation email and that I would receive the TV this first week of April.
Upon going online to view the status of this, I saw that it was cancelled. So I chatted then called support who looked it up and told me there were issues with the online integration between orders and financing that caused it to cancel. NOTE, I've already received my approval documents in the mail so it's not that I was "dis-approved". So after multiple hours working with order support, I was told that I can no longer receive the same deal that I chose last week (no e-gift card now). The only reason I purchased this was because of the e-gift. Also, I already separately purchased the wall mount for the specific Brand/Model TV, that now I can't use or return for free. I feel Dell pulled the ole bait and switch. You should honor contracts that were broken to no fault of the customer. May not be doing any further business with you guys in the future. You used to be known for Customer Service!
