Carry in vs onsite
We have a no-power failure and phone support determined it needs a new motherboard, however, since we are in Mexico they told us that onsite is not available, we need to take it to a service center (in Guadalajara) 4 hours drive each way and it may take 10-15 days, then we pick it up.
Not too happy with this since we have Premium Plus warranty which shouild have international on-site service.
Two questions:
1. Will it be possible to ship the computer to them (and get a return shipment)?
2.Technical support suggested we transfer our warranty from the US to Mexico, which we have requested, and said that then we would have onsite repair service. Anybody confirm this
