Concern Regarding Dell Laptop Charger Authenticity

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I bought a power adapter for my Dell laptop. The seller assured me it was genuine and of top quality. However, just a few hours later, the barrel part broke. When I informed them about it the next day, they said it wasn't covered by warranty, blaming me for the damage despite my careful handling. So I had to buy another one, but unfortunately, it is not working and I am really frustrated. I ended up spending almost $80 on two adapters. As a student, this is a lot for my family since we're not well-off. I've been using a second-hand laptop from America that my aunt gave me for about a year now.

Now, I'm starting to doubt if the adapter I bought is genuine, despite the hologram and the seller's assurance. It's hard to tell if it's a real Dell product until you unwrap it because the Dell logo is only visible after removing the plastic wrapping. I suspect there might be fake Dell products being sold in Multiplan Center, Elephant Road, Dhaka, Bangladesh, and other places in Bangladesh, but I prefer not to disclose the vendor's name. This could be tricking customers. I've attached some images for your review. Please look into this matter.

Sincerely,

Ehan Hasan

Thank you for reaching out to us. We're sorry to learn about your experience.

As per the picture shared, Dell part number is a valid part however we're unable to confirm from the picture if this is an original dell part since you've purchased from reseller.

I suggest you to contact seller for clarification or further assistance.

@DELL-Cares

I contacted with the seller, but unfortunately the seller didn’t give me any solution.
