Customer Service

Not sure where to begin, but I should have read some of the other messages before buying a Dell product. If anyone else is reading this, PLEASE know that if anything goes wrong with your order, trade-in or anything else involving Dell Customer Support, be prepared for the absolute worst service imaginable. It's impossible to speak with anyone that has any authority to do anything, I just keep getting the run around on a variety of issues, and the techs/customer service reps have zero clue about their own products and how to fix them. They always put you on hold and go talk to someone else, and then they say they will look into the issue and get back to you. It's now been 3 months since I've place my order and I still don't have the entire product I paid for. I basically just need to add a wifi card and antenna to my computer, which you think would be easy for a company like Dell, but they have no idea how to fix this. I am not a "computer guy", but after doing some basic research, I know more about wifi cards than their "techs". I also traded in my previous Dell computer (which was terrible) for a credit, and they told me I could use the credit anywhere -ie Amazon, Ebay, etc. Turns out that the credit can only be used on Dell.com, which is a joke because I had to pay for my new computer upfront, and now I'm forced to buy something I don't really need. I ended up buying some software, but the software was over priced by about $250. So my credit of $310 saved me about $60. Great. Even though my first computer was very slow and had issues, I went with Dell again because of the $310 credit and hoped the new one would be better. I have to admit that my new computer works great, but I was tricked into buying it, and the sales rep promised me something that I didn't get, and now it seems they won't fulfill the order. Because I'm stubborn, I've spent countless hours on the phone and going back and forth with emails for the last 3 months.  I'm sure they are hoping I will just go away.
