Delivery address change

It is impossible to get someone in Dell to change delivery address.

1. Dell policy is not to change delivery address after ordering. They can start process to change delivery address only after laptop has been shipped. And only way to contact Dell for doing this change is via Support Center email form.

2. So in my case laptop got shipped on 6th December via FedEx with delivery date of 9th December.

3. I sent email to order support center on 6th December after receiving start of shipment tracking by FedEx

4. After 4 days, still no change in address shown in FedEx. They attempted to deliver to the address in original order and of course we were not there so they started process to return to shipper.

5. Dell order support center is helpless. They say they contact someone in Dell to call FedEx to change but beyond that they just apologize.

6. Worst thing is that the way shipment is set up, FedEx will not change if I call as only shipper can change address.

7. Lastly, there is no way to cancel the order either. It can be done only after receiving the laptop.

8. And you have only 30 days from the day order was placed to cancel the order. Which means if we don't get laptop in 30 days, we are stuck!

9. This system by Dell probably is to make sure customer is stuck after placing order.
