When did you warranty expire?  They would have answered your question if you had a warranty.

You forgot to add, your warranty had expired in your post.....:emotion-2:

you're doing this just to aren't you? I have clicked every blue word, period, apostrophe, etc and no way to send you a private message at least not from my screen.

this probably won't get to you, but suffice it to say...yes my warranty is expired, yes I have bought 7 computers [ not to mention the little ancillary products that go with it] and would tell everyone what a fine company you are.

Guess what: no more. don't like dell because it rhymes with h---, the way you treat customers, lack of any sort of help unless a dollar sign is attached, or I can go get self help. Oh, well. Like I said, you created the former customer not me....

Knock em dead out there. customers grow on trees as we all know..

First of all I know Lorna and she wouldn't do anything to aggravate you like that. I don't think she is aware that her PM's have been disabled.

Second, I fail to see what Dell did that was wrong?   I knew when you first posted it was the result of you having no warranty.   You can't expect phone tech help when you are out of warranty.  I know, you have bought numerous systems from Dell, but the warranty on this one has lapsed.  Is that Dell's fault?

They're only doing what they were instructed to do, you need a valid warranty to use their support.

I speak from first hand experience, I too have bought numerous systems from Dell.  I found out the hard way that I forgot to renew my warranty but I didn't get mad a Dell for my error.

If there is something I can do for you on the forum please let me know, I'll do my best?

...and trust me, Lorna is one of the BEST Liaisons Dell has, customers come first with her.  So don't vent on Lorna, she's the last one that would treat you poorly.
