Frustrated Need Help with Return
I have made multiple calls to the customer service line since Friday 10/31. On Sunday 11/2 I finally reached someone from the the Tech Support team I spoke with the about the issue I was having with my new laptop connecting with my dell docking station and they informed me that I would need to talk to the sales team. I asked the guy if he could check to see what docking station would be compatible with my laptop and he said he was unable to because he did not do sales. I was confused because if he is tech support he should be able to identify what docking station would be compatible. I called today spoke with someone from the sales team that informed me that my recently purchased laptop did not have docking capabilities. I asked if he could recommend one that did he said I just needed to get the upgraded version of the same model I had recently ordered. He even sent me a quote so once my return was started I could purchase the new one. He was very helpful and transferred me to customer care who was rude once they finally answered the phone. The lady came on the line said your product was purchase 31 days ago you are not eligible for return, when I started speaking she hung up. I am dissatisfied with the customer service that I received from this lady. If anyone can help me with this return I would greatly appreciate it, I ordered this laptop for school & work but it is not compatible with any docking stations so know I am stuck with something I can’t use. I would just like to return it and order the one I need. I ordered this laptop on 10/3.
