Long Order Delay

Question

This is my first time ordering from dell and it has been good so far. I ordered the xps 15 on July 7th and it had an expected delivery date of the 19th, I thought it was a little long but it’s not too bad. It said it would ship on July 14th, but when the 14th came it did not ship. I received an email yesterday saying that it was delayed till the 28th and would not ship until the 23rd! I think an almost 2 week delay is crazy! I’m posting here because I’m hoping there is something I could do to expedite it.

Good luck, I also ordered an XPS 15, on June 15.

Estimated ship date of June 25, notified of delay on June 27.

The delay has updated mine to ship July 24, so maybe that'll happen.

You're 3 weeks behind me, I'm amazed they didn't realise your XPS would be delayed until it past shipping date either.

Good luck, I ordered a  Precision 7550 Workstation back on April 23 and the ship and delivery dates have changed twice.  The current ship date is 7/28 but I am not holding my breath.  I wish they would at least tell you what the hold-up is and give a real date.
