Missing Game Bundle MasterCode

I recently bought a G3 Gaming Laptop from Walmart that comes with the Intel Gaming Bundle. There was no invoice, card or indication of a master code on the email receipt. I contacted Walmart and they told me to contact Dell. Before I call I wondered if all I need to do is register the laptop to my Dell account and wait for an email with the master code. Thanks.

I contacted Walmart support again and the representative told me that I shouldn't worry, that the code would reach via email in the intended period, which ends today. Surprise: It has not arrived. I got the feeling that the rep only read to me the information located in the publication of the laptop in their website (like we don't know how to read) and didn't give me an actual answer. For example, does that mean that they wait until the last day to send the code? I'm contacting them again today. They have to fix this. I read in other posts that other companies have the same issue with Walmart and I even read that some customers, after contacting the support of the applicable company, are reaching an agreement with them: they send the receipt and the company directly sends the code. That is, they are doing the retailer's job. I don't know if we can do the same with Dell or Intel.

Thank you for your message. Was there any flyer with the computer that said the gaming bundle is included?

Is the game bundle already installed?

For my reference, please click on the message tab next to your avatar– click “New Message” & search for my Dell username (Dell-Sreejith R) & send a private message with the service tag/ order number, registered name & email address. I will have this checked with the sales team & assist you further.

But this didn't actually help other people with the same issue.

I also purchased my G3 from Walmart.  The Walmart store front on the website said:

Dell G3 Gaming Laptop 17.3" Full HD, Intel Core i7-8750H, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB, 1TB HDD + 128GB          SSD, 16GB RAM, G3779-7927BLK-PUS Gaming Bundle included

and:

Purchase a qualifying Dell G Series Laptop with an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor and youll receive the Intel         Gaming Bundle which includes $180+ worth of games. Top titles include Final Fantasy XV, Stable Orbit, DiRT 4, and  Dreadnought. Program ends March 31, 2019. Code to be sent up to 30 days after purchase by e-mail.

When the computer arrived there was no information at all about this gaming bundle. How does it work? Do I need to contact Intel?

When I tried to register via the Dell software installed on the computer it didn't seem to work, it never asked me for my name or information, so I registered via my existing Dell account on the Dell website.

I did not realize the code is to be sent via email within 30 days of purchase. I purchased the g3 on Nov 26 and registered it on my Dell account Dec 4. So I may be rushing things. As worm1957 says is registering it on a Dell account is the proper way to go then wait until you receive an email?

Thank you for your message. I had escalated this issue to our sales team & have a confirmation that this is not a Dell offer.

The free game is a Walmart offer & managed by the retailer directly & not by Dell.

Hi, I contacted Walmart regarding this issue after I bought my G5 5587 and they told me the opposite: it is not a Walmart offer and that I should contact Dell in order to get my code.

I've yet to get any email with the Mastercode. The web page on the Walmart site said I should get it within 30 days. That will be Dec 26th. As in the post I started this thread I came here since Walmart said it was a Dell issue and Dell says it is a Walmart issue. If I haven't received it by then I am contacting Walmart again to escalate the issue since I also have a friend with the same issue. It seems to me that a lot of people are having this issue and if so it may be false advertising by Walmart.

andresg.txt Thanks for the info. Let us know your progress or for that matter anyone who was successful in getting the Master Code how did they get it. My friend did talk to the manager of the local Walmart and he said it was a limited deal and they had run out of codes. I do believe he was only giving a standard answer since the bundle is still shown as part of the purchase of the laptop.

I confirm to any who might be interested in their code that I contacted Walmart Support (again) and they didn't resolve my issue (again). Here is the screenshot of the important messages of the conversation:

I uploaded the screenshot to imgur because it was the first uploader that I found, sorry.

Anyways, we should all be storming Walmart's contact number (it's in the conversation) so they respond. Someone has to give us an answer. Whether Dell or Walmart, someone is lying.

I too received my MasterCode on the 24th.  So be patient since Walmart seems to wait until the 30 days are almost up.
