Monitor got delayed three times
I ordered AW2721D on Dec. 26, 2020. and it was supposed to arrive around Jan7.
It keep staying at the confirmed section, I talked to the CS once a week, and the answers are the same,
"I understand. I sincerely apologize for the delay."
The order got delayed about 3 times from Jan 7 to Jan 20 and now CS told me it will delay to Jan 28.
Are CS just keep adding one week over and over and not really do anything about this?
It's almost a month from my order date, is there any person who had a similar experience like this?

Same thing. AW2721d on dec18th and nothing.
I wrote a long response but dell obviously didn't want it posted...
Trying to cancel this garbage and buy the 265hz ACER that actually supports 10bit color at higher refresh rates.

Hello! I wrote about my experience in a different forum, I'll copypaste it here:
TL;DR - My order is going to arrive 5 weeks after I placed it, which seems to be the case for most people.
I ordered a custom config XPS laptop on December 21st, with an expected (and expedited) delivery date no later than January 7th. Right away I knew something was wrong because the order was stuck on "confirmation" and the charge disappeared from my credit card. Later I learned that, at least in my case, Dell wouldn't officially charge my card until the order had shipped.
The first week of January arrived and the order still has not progressed to the production/manufacturing stage, instead it remained stuck on confirmation. I get in touch with a customer service rep who tells me my order is experiencing a part shortage, but she is unable to tell me which part. After a lot of calls and emails, I eventually find out the processor is on back order.
And so it goes for weeks, with no updates from Dell unless I initiate contact first. At one point a customer service rep gives me a new estimated shipping date that is within a week of the call, and when I point out that seems unrealistic they say, "You are correct!" and I am immediately given an even later estimated shipping date picked seemingly arbitrarily.
At this point I'm going crazy. I dug through months and month of posts on this forum, and noticed that the complaints for delayed deliveries seemed on average to fall off at about the 4 to 5 week mark. Sure enough... 4 weeks to the day after placing my delivery my laptop enters production, and a little over a day later a shipping label is printed and it is now in transit.
The worst part about this experience by far was not having any idea of how long I was going to wait, knowing that Dell was just picking estimated shipping dates at random. There are some horror stories in these forums of people waiting three months for their order, but those are rare and seem exceptional. Most of the delayed orders seem to be resolved in a similar timeframe to mine, so, if this is you I'd expect to be waiting for 4 to 5 weeks.
As of today (January 21st at 3:27pm local time) UPS is giving me an estimated delivery time of tonight at 9pm. Here's hoping.
