Online Support for Peripherals, How?

How exactly does someone get online support/warranty replacement for Alienware peripherals?  The chat forces you to put in a service tag to continue but peripherals don't have these.

Why have an option to get support via chat but require you to input a service tag that doesn't exist on all the products you sell? I posted a few days ago to try and get some help regarding replacing my Alienware Pro headset but never heard anything back. I saw someone mention to send a private message to Dell-Cares but I'm getting no response from them as well.
