I believe it was a scam to get sales. I also ordered it for the release day delivery and I made my purchase on October 27. Dell is just now showing it shipped with the delivery date as Monday Nov. 9th. If they wanted to make it right they could have upgraded our orders to Saturday delivery. I will be going to walmart after work to buy it and will refuse the package when it arrives. Don't even bother calling them or using chat because I was on hold for 25 Minutes before I gave up and my chat que number was 88,lol.
Thanks for posting. Apologies for the the confusion as the vendor did not anticipate the overwhelming success of this promotion and was unable to keep up with the demand. Since these items are shipped out by the vendors and not by Dell, we do not have control over the timing involved. Hopefully the vendor will have sufficient supplies soon, and orders will ship quickly.
