Power off, unplug the system and remove the base cover.   Disconnect the main battery from the system board and hold the power button for 30 sec.

Remove and reinstall the memory module(s).  Try powering up again.  That may solve the problem.

If it doesn't, and you have two modules, try one module at a time in each socket until the problem reoccurs. If one module tests bad in both sockets, you'll need to replace it.  If both modules test bad in one socket but not the other, the socket is bad and the system board will need to be replaced.

If you have only one module, try it in each socket -- as above, if it fails in both sockets, the module is bad;  if it fails in one but not the other, the socket is bad.
