RAM issue while replacing damaged screen
Hi,
I am so flabbergasted to know that, Dell can remove hardware from your machine and replace it with the downgraded one when the machine given to the Dell Service Center (Pune-India). Here is what happened.
My laptop screen damaged. Since My laptop was out of warranty.
When I purchased laptop(Dell Inspiron N5010) at that time built in RAM was 4GB with laptop.
Once I got the laptop back from repair facility and I checked all the hardware, I was surprise to see only 3GB RAM in there. So I called the service center and asked them to investigate. After couple of days I was told that the Repair facility says there was only 3 GB RAM in there. They are in denial that I had 4 GB RAM in the laptop.
I still have that laptop invoice in which mentioned that 4 GB RAM. They are lying about this and I don’t know how to persuade this case further. When I asked to that service center guy he shown me CCTV camera recording where he were fitting the screen on my laptop. but what about off camera and laptop was there for 3 days including sunday(holiday). On top of that they steal my RAM and I feel helpless here to prove it. If anyone can give their expert advice on this, would be very helpful.
