Continue to discuss this with the Dell WhatsApp agents.

Dell policy notes

A new system exchange is only done inside the first 30 days from the Dell invoice date. You are 197 days past the 30 day period.

Per the purchased warranty, Dell must make three part replacement attempts. If that fails to correct the issue, then a refurbished like for like system exchange is allowed.

So if three times parts were replaced an the system still doesn't work properly Dell will give a refurbished "like for like" replacement? this is news to me and I really hope I don't need it but this is the second motherboard on my system to need replacement and I haven't found out why yet! But if its a refurbished unit it does have the same warranty as a new unit has correct? and I do have the extended warranty on this one so how would the extended warranty be handled? added on to the factory warranty?

Well the only item that is slightly comparable to my M17 R3 10th gen I9 UHD display 2070 rtx 16 gig, and 32 gig mem is the X17 R2 model, although it doesn’t have the numerical keypad or Tobin eye tracking, but I guess it’s a give and take situation!
