Return policy

Question

I bought my husband a Dell 14 in laptop for Xmas and there is no memory on this machine.i called about 1 week ago and spoke to tech support and was told I needed more memory so I purchased what he told me I needed. Went to best buy to see what is going on and could not even get it to boot up due to lack of memory. Called on Fri to get return label as this is worthless to me. It was vlosed so called back this morning and was told that I was past the 30 day return policy. How can you have a 30 day return policy on something that does not work. Asked to spy to Mgr and I am pretty sure I got a coworker as they do not gave Corp phone numbers xnd basically said I was out of luck. I don't understand how a big Corp like dell has no management phone numbers. I will never buy a Dell product and will keep trying to return this price of crappie otherwise I have a costly souvenir of my stupidity. Just am very upset that you don't get to spy to people yoj can  just Der stand and understands what you are requesting. I am done with Dell products and will be letting everyone I know about this.

Hello!  The return policy is 30 days from invoicing of the computer and as far as I know they do not generally make exceptions.  As for your computer not having any memory, is it missing the Hard Drive or actual Memory chip?  What is the error you receive on the laptop?  Technical support should be able to help you get your computer up and running again.

Credir card chargeback?  I was finally able to get my promo gift card after filing a BBB complaint, which seemed to work really well.  Other than that, I have. Ever dealt with worst customer service.
