Dell support contacted me. There is a delay shipping out from Asia and they have no idea when I can expect my laptop.

Same situation for my order. I bought it from Dell based on the estimated delivery date on the product page. I even chatted with the rep who told me that it was very likely to ship on or before the expected date. Nonetheless, it is no estimated date when I will receive my laptop now.

Same exact situation here. Seems like most people on here have delays with their order being in the production stage. What stinks about the delay occurring after shipping is we have already been charged the money. I've been out $1200 with nothing to show for it for a long time.

It's weeks beyond the original estimated arrival date and nobody can even tell me when it may arrive or the exact reason for the delay. I tried to ask how long was the maximum we could be forced to wait for an unknown delay before they begin the process of shipping a replacement. They refuse to answer.

What is especially frustrating... this was supposed to be expedited delivery! I was not made aware that this was shipping from Asia prior to ordering.

10 days later now. I assume the situation is still the same for you? It is for me. No update on tracking or clarification on the delay; however, the logistics team has been working hard to figure this out for 15+ days? Seems hard to believe.

Apparently, Dell must have a logistics issue to contact their logistic team.

Another week is gone and there is no update on my shipping status.

Very happy for you that it finally arrived. 4 weeks after it actually shipping is crazy though. If I would have known it was going to be like that, I honestly would have bought my laptop elsewhere.

Mine shipped apparently 2 weeks ago and still nothing works for any tracking.  I guess I'll get it one day, maybe .

 A 1600$+ charge with nothing to show for it.....not great.

Hi,

I purchased laptop  on 9th Sept 2021 and its should have been shipped by 20 Sept 2021. After that then extended the date to 20 OCT 2021 and suppose to be shipped on 13th Oct. Till not shipped. I am terribly frustrated as Cust Care is useless they play round robin from one agent to another  and promise escalation and assured call back in 24 hours. Never happened anything. 

Dell- You guys are making customer life difficult. I am not at all happy and never recommend Dell to anyone.

Dell shipping department is broken.  I cannot change the delivery date on my computer because Dell does nto permit UPS to allow the receiver to adjust delivery.  So, my computer will be sitting on my proch in the rain.  How dumb is it for DELL to not let the receiver make cahnges to delivery dates?

They are indeed awful. After it "ships", then its another month at least where it's in limbo with 0 updates.   If I would have known in early August delivered by Sept 19th actually meant maybe you'll get it in November or before Christmas,  we don't know where it is, I never would have ordered.

I ordered a laptop in July.  After 4 delays, I'm still waiting on October 17th.  Previous delays have shown a new estimated shipping date the day after it was scheduled to ship.  Now they're not even doing that.  Order details still shows October 11th, but hasn't even shipped yet, and they haven't even given a new estimated date.  At this point it feels like they've completely abandoned my order.

 

I ordered this PC 3 months in advance because I'll need it for work soon.  If it's not here by October 22nd, I'll have no choice but to cancel and go somewhere else.

It took me a week from order date to have someone tell me that the computer was shipping international despite next day delivery! I really dislike that they show "shipped" and all customer service does is continue to refer to the tracking number for UPS/FEDEX which is useless if they don't have it yet. Hopefully Dell get's there act together. I was relying on their estimated shipping to be somewhat correct and not a blatant lie. Dell, you can do better.
