Noticed related topics I see that I am not the only one that scammers have gotten hold of my service tag. I did speak with an investigator a while ago and she acknowledged Dell is aware of Zexcel Technologies. That was more than six months ago yet I continue to get call from folks claiming to be with Zexcel Technologies and it appears Dell has done nothing and the investigator I communicated to does not appear to be with Dell anymore.

Like others have speculated, it's likely there was a data breach or employee leaked customer information (sold data perhaps). This would not happen if I did not send in my laptop for warranty repair.

Anyway, I just submitted phone scam form online at Dell web site with recent info (calls from yesterday and unfortunately earlier today again).
