U3417W, recently unpackaged, broken
Hello,
We ordered a couple of monitors some time within the past two years. One was never opened until recently and we found the screen to be broken. The monitor is a Dell UltraSharp 34 Curved Monitor: U3417W. What do you believe is the best course of action for this monitor as we would like to keep it and have it repaired?

Click our DELL-Cares username. On the right click, "Send this user a private message". We will need the private monitor Service Tag and 20 digit serial number.

Neither Dell nor other manufactures repair monitors -- they're replaced when they fail, particularly if the screen is broken. Beyond replacement screens being generally unavailable, monitors are very often assembled with adhesives -- screens just are not replaceble.
It's unlikely that anything other than a monitor that arrives damaged and is immediately reported will be replaced -- too much time has elapsed.
