Not sure what you have in mind in making it easier for you?
True, it's their mistake, but besides sending you a return shipping label to return the sound bar and then sending you the correct part what else can they do?
I have yet to speak to somebody who can do this. So far I have spoken to the tech people to find out which one is really compatible, then to the CS who said I have to speak to some other CS, then to the returns department to get the label. Does it really work like this? No one point of contact to get the job done?

Fill out this form. Don't forget to tell them you need a return shipping label either emailed or mailed to you.
Give Dell 3 business days to reply or so
This will escalate the issue, let me know what they say?
