x15 R1, endless issues

Hello! My Alienware x15 R1 has had 12 Service events over the course of 6 months (I believe it is a lemon). I contacted Dell, and after doing the department shuffle from customer service to tech support, customer service, tech, etc. The case was finally gets escalated to the Advanced Solutions department. I was told that they could either refund me what I paid (before Laptop prices went up) or they could replace it with a new x15 R2 with a spec valued at $3249.99. I counter-offered with an Alienware x16 R1 spec that was valued at $3149.99. They rejected! The laptop was cheaper AND better, a Win-Win! I then asked if I could receive a payment that would cover that laptop so that I could purchase it and turn around to give them another $500 I'd get back from my Credit Card's cashback service to spend on accessories, AND THEY STILL REJECTED! Now that is an investment in my eyes. Give me X and I'll return X+Y. This laptop I have now is a joke and a lemon; it needs to be replaced. I just want a cash settlement that would cover the replacement laptop and its warranty. I don't even want "cash and keep" because this laptop is a joke!
