Why not just use mtree replication? The DDBoost storage unit "DDC_RMAN1" should have a corresponding mtree. You can check this from the CLI with "mtree list".
You can configure replication between the two units, if you have the replication license installed on both arrays.
I set up an mtree and created the replication pair. It created the needed storage unit on the target datadomain, and I can see the data transferring. I appreciate the help!
