How to remove existing disk groups?
Hi Community,
I have a DD2200 with 2 disk groups (DD OS is 5.7.4.10)
When we bought the DD it had a dg containing 6 disk in RAID6 and we extended it with 5 disks. Now we have another dg RAID6, so we have DG0 with 2 parity disks and DG1 with 2 parity disks.
How can I remove both both the DG's and create 1 DG with all 11 disks? I don't care about the data, because I replicated it to another DD.
I know I can factory reset with a USB image, but there MUST BE a command to remove both the DG's...
Please help!

Hi all,
There is no command to remove the original DG0. The only way is re-image the DD with a USB image. There are plenty of documents on how to do that

In 2024, is there still no option to destroy disk groups without re-image?
