XPS M1530 - Windows 7 64 Bit
This model and Operating System is not supported by Dell.
Remarks: This system will run Windows 7 32 bit fine but Windows 7 64 bit is recommended.
It is recommended to upgrade it to 4 GB of RAM (if using Windows 7 32 bit) or 4-8 GB of RAM (if using Windows 7 64 bit):

This is a Media Direct system and the Media Direct partition should be setup before installing Windows 7. This is covered in Windows Reinstallation Guide/A Clean install of Windows 7 Step 7b. The MD Application should be installed after the drivers.

Always state model of Dell and Operating System including whether it is 32 or 64 bit when posting.
