Mount remote share failed

Hi,

i have a problem, all our ports are open , our OpenManage Enterprise is version 3.9 and we are alwway receiving the Mount of remote share failed.

Task Failed. Completed With Errors." with CIFS V1 or V2 enabled."
already testes with HTTPS share but this to gives me an error.

Has it worked in the past and now does not work?  If so do you know of any changes since it worked?

 

Can you outline me the steps you are doing?

 

 

OME has some built in tools you can use to troubleshoot

You might start with Test appliance connectivity and Test connection with network share

Page 159: Troubleshooting tools. 

On the Monitor > Troubleshoot page.

Several troubleshooting capabilities are listed there as well as generating console logs.

Topics:

  • Test protocol availability for any undiscovered device
  • Test protocol availability for a discovered device
  • Ping any device
  • Test appliance connectivity
  • Restart the appliance
  • Test connection with network share
  • Generate and download Console log archive
  • (Field Service Debug is only used to internally debug issue within the OME appliance, and can only be enabled with assistance from a certified Dell support representative. It is recommended to call in and work with an engineer to use this option)
