Horrible Response Time using OME with IE11

I'm having very poor response time using OME 2.0.1. It takes a long time to load from page to page and I often receive an IE message at the bottom stating "titlepage not responding" with an option to recover. Has anyone had this issue? If so, please let me know what I can do to resolve this issue.

Thanks,

SJ

Hi Rob,

Yes, it was an upgrade from 1.01.

Sever has 16GB RAM/2.27GHz CPU

Yes, this started happening after the upgrade

I have not tried with another browser.

Hi and thanks for the post.  A few questions:

- Is this a fresh 2.0.1 install or upgrade?  If upgrade, from which release?

- How much RAM/CPU on the box running the OME GUI?

- Did you only see this problem after upgrading your browser?

- Any better behavior with Chrome/Firefox?

Thanks,

Rob

Ok thanks.

There were only a very few changes in 2.0.1.  So I'd be surprised if it were related to that, but anyway.

Assuming your CPU has 2 or more cores...

16GB of RAM is certainly fine.

If the console does eventually load you may export that task history grid to excel to see how many entries are in there.  We've had, in the past, an issue where the number of task history entries is exceptionally high (like 150K) and it could cause some slowness in the console loading.

You can also look in the logs in the OME console to see if there is anything suspect.

If nothing there, we may need a ticket opened (800-945-3355) so the support team can dig around a bit.

Thanks,

Rob

Running IE11 here without a problem.

Is OME's URL added to your intranet or trusted sites?
