Quick Sync and old phones/Android
I'm running an old Galaxy S Blaze 4G phone, with Android 4.0.4 (an early Ice Cream Sandwich) as the OS. It has NFC but iDRAC QuickSync doesn't work. The QuickSync works fine with my colleague's more modern phone.
I wondered if this is a known issue with the older Android versions/phones. My OME app is version 1.4.0.5 so it's not that old. I'm able to NFC with other devices such as my Sony camera.

While there are no known issues with that phone, not every phone has been tested with QuickSync.
If you have not already done so, it may help to update the iDRAC to the latest firmware. I've read that some people managed to get Android 4.4 on the Galaxy S Blaze 4G which would allow you to update to OMM 1.5. OMM 1.5 does include some minor improvements to NFC performance and reliability. On the other hand, it may be simpler to move to a newer phone.
