Well, people on here have been asking for that for quite awhile now actually if you look through out the history. Is there any expected update of OME as a whole anyways within the forseeable future?

That's not very helpful at all actually. Folks have been inquiring about this for YEARS! Is Dell just not concerned about security? Many companies will not allow older versions of SNMP on their network, which means we lose functionality in OME.

There have been several queries on this topic, and, it is certainly under consideration for future releases.
A newer version of OME will be out by mid of this year. But, SNMP v3 is not part of it in any form.
