Trash system / Customer service
I bought a Dell Micro Computer from Amazon in October 2025, and two months after my purchase, it stopped functioning, causing me to lose 10 years of work. Today, it happened again. I contacted Dell Customer Service, and after spending the entire day trying to fix the issue without success, the only option they offered was to replace the broken parts with refurbished ones.
This is unacceptable. I lost all my work twice, wasted days trying to recover some of it, and they are offering refurbished parts? I bought a new computer for peace of mind—is it fair to receive refurbished parts instead?
I am extremely disappointed.

Hi
Sometimes data can be recovered from a storage device, and I use testdisk.
If you can recover anything, then a backup policy would be needed.
Also if you have the old device with previous work on it then that could possibly be retreived and restored.
But as you dont give many/any details about the system, and what is currently wrong then ...............
