Pro 16 PC16250, very long boot time
Hi,
I have a problem with my new Dell Pro 16 PC16250 notebook. It takes Windows 11 very long time to restart or cold boot - about 2 minutes. My BIOS version is 1.9.0. This 1.9.0 version is not available on the support website anymore. The latest available version is 1.6.0. I am unable to do a BIOS downgrade to that version. Please provide any information about the issue.

After updating the BIOS to version 1.10.2 the boot time dropped to 22 seconds, so the topic can be marked as resolved.

Dell GHN (Get Help Now) chat technical support must verify the ownership and warranty status. Click the blue "Get Help Now" on the right to start a private live chat session. Share the private Service Tag with them. This will in turn generate a unique support case for your unique Service Tag.
* Turn the Pro 16 PC16250 off
* Disconnect EVERY peripheral device from the right and left side of the Pro 16 PC16250 leaving ONLY the provided power adapter connecting to the left side power port
* Tunr the Pro 16 PC16250 on. Does it still have a long boot time?

Tried disconnecting everything but the power adapter - no change. I have timed the boot - it took 1 minute and 18 seconds to boot to logon screen from cold boot (reboot or power off with SHIFT pressed).

Tried a BIOS downgrade to the 1.6.0 version available through Dell Support website with no luck:
The peculiar thing is, the 1.9.0 version nor the 1.8.0 (installed by Windows Update) is no longer available on the Dell Support website - no trace of it ever existing

Also, when Pro 16 PC16250 is connected to SD25TB4 dock, we cannot get picture to external monitors until we open laptops lid :(
