My boot time on my XPS 435T (6GB RAM, Vista 64-bit) is around 1:20 from power button to Desktop. Of course, then application load, so it is another 60 sceonds before I can use it.
Mine was 1:10 from button push to viewing desktop....My initial start ups after receiving the computer were taking longer - I think that was due to setting changes and program installs.... Now that things have settled down a bit - it's around 1:10.
I will soon find out, unknown delivery date 435t core i7 2.66 512 ati hd4670 9g ddr3 1066 ordered from Costco online should satisfy my appetite for now.
