Blinking Yellow Light
My desk top does not turn on and instead I get a blinking yellow light if I hold the on button. Can someone tell me what is wrong with my machine?

Blinking amber generally indicates there's a problem with the power going to the system. This often is the powersupply, but could also be a short in one of the parts in the system (e.g. the harddrive, motherboard, cdrom, etc).
You may want to check the online service manual for your 5150 and check out the troubleshooting section to see if it can get you any further.
