* Computer is very noisy...please help! *
I have an 8100 P4 1.5 GHz.
Friend 1 has a 4300 P4 1.5 GHz (same as me).
Friend 2 has a refurbished 4100 1.0 GHz P3.
I have the more expensive of them all, but my computer is the loudest. They have a very consistent hummm...while mine sounds like a fan or something else...but its becoming a bother. I can see that on the 8200, it matches with the new 4300's style. They have a strong, sturdy case which opens in half. Very innovative. Mine has a thin piece of sheet metal on the left. No insulation or sound deading material at all. I don't even have a headphone jack on the front.
What can I do? I want a QUIET computer
